Jason Stanford (b.1976) has composed works for all manner of forces. His catalog includes works for solo, vocal, chamber, live electronic and electro-acoustic music, a number of works for symphony orchestra, and even some music for animation and video games.  His works have been performed in Canada and the United States by many great soloists and ensembles including:  The U of T faculty woodwind quintet, The Avenue Winds Quintet, guitarist Rob MacDonald, bassoonist Charles Moenke, and most recently by the TorQ Percussion Quartet

Jason Stanford holds a Doctor of Music from the University of Toronto where his principal teacher was Christos Hatzis, and he holds both a Bachelor (Hon.) and Master of Music in Composition from The University of Western Ontario, where his teachers included Omar Daniel, Peter Paul Koprowski, and David Myska.
