Toronto Electro-Acoustic Symposium - August 6-9th 2009
Presented by The Canadian Electroacoustic Community (CEC) and New Adventures in Sound Art (NAISA)

The TES 2009 coincides with NAISA's Sound Travels Festival taking place in Toronto between June 14th and October 1st 2009.
My latest Electroacoustic work "Ion" will be performed live on the opening concert of the TES 2009 on Thursday August 6th at 8pm in the Loop Centre for Lively Arts and Learning, located in the Wychwood Barns Artscape Building at 601 Christie Street, Suite #176
I will be presenting a paper on the technical and aesthetic issues of composing for multichannel electroacoustic sound diffusion, with particular emphasis on planning spatial trajectories and mixing stems for those trajectories, focusing on the procedures I undertook composing for the NAISA ~spit spatial performance instrument. AngelusNovus.net concert being presented by New Adventures in Sound Art as part of their Deep Wireless Festival of Radio and Transmission Art. The concert will be hosted at the IndexG Gallery, and commemorate the 5th Anniversery of the Deep Wireless Festival, featuring remixes and mashups by AN members of works released by NAISA on their Deep Wireless CDs performed live and diffuesed in 6.1 channel surround sound. The concert is a trans-local event, and there are 2 more Deep Wireless concerts occurring at the same time. The concert will also be streamed live on the radio in real-time by Free 103.9 FM in New York.

I graduated in absentia from The University of Toronto, and was given my diploma for the degree of Doctor Of Music, in composition.
FEBRUARY 2008
Friday the 1st : Joined the membership of Trinity Square Video, and I am looking forward to learning new skills and sharing my knowledge and expertise
Saturday the 9th : Videographer for TorQ's performance with Symphony Mississauga, performing the David Gillingham Concertino for 4 percussionists (arranged for orchestra from the original Wind Ensemble version), also performing a new work by Canadian composer Andrew Ager, and Katchaturian's beloved Sabre Dance.
Videographer of violinist Hanna Matthijsse performing W.A. Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante, a double concerto for violin and viola with violist Rory McCloud, and the RCM Glenn Gould School orchestra in concert at St Jude's Anglican church in Oakville Ontario at 8pm.
JANUARY 2008
I am now officially an Associate Composer of The Canadian Music Centre, and my biography is now on displaly on the CMC website, and my compositions will begin to be added to the national library catalog and be available for loan, rental, or purchase.
I am featured in the Winter 2008 Ontario Region of the CMC's printed newsletter Notations, as is fellow new Associate Composers: Robert Rival, Darren Copeland, Todd Harrop, Naina Jinga, Evan Ware, and James Wright.
