COMPACT DISC DESIGN FOR INA HENNING
I was fortunate to meet Ina Henning, a brilliant accordionist and friend from Germany while she was studying at The University of Toronto with noted accordionist Joe Macerollo. As partial fulfillment of her Masters degree in performance, Ina gave two hour long recitals of music, they were an amazing success. I offered to edit the recordings and make audio CDs for both concerts, as well as to make a promotional CD from a list of tracks. I also took this as an opportunity to design the visuals for the actual CD and the front and back covers.
DVD DISC DESIGN FOR BILL ROWSON
Most recently, my friend, fellow composer, and conductor Bill Rowson needed a DVD of his archival conducting videos in order to submit to an International Conductor's Symposium being held in Toronto later this year. I digitized the video from VHS into the computer, and then editied the various takes, then authored the DVD, making the menus and making sure all the actions and remote buttons worked. It was a quick print, but later when we have more time, we'll go through more of the video and come up with a lot more to include in future versions.
